Let’s take some time to investigate about how Snapchat tracks you with their app.

Those who read my articles, especially the “Humans on the Internet” ones, know I’m really concerned about data collection and privacy on the Internet. I recently deleted Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Twitter from my phone, and now Snapchat and LinkedIn are the two last apps in the “Social Media” section of my phone. I’ve always had much more trust in Snapchat than other social media. So, I decided to investigate about how Snapchat actually tracks me and what they really know about me.

How to download your data from Snapchat ?

Before we go any further, let’s see how anyone can download his data from snapchat. It’s not hacking, and it’s 100% legal. With Internet platforms nowadays, you have the right to ask for a copy of the data they have about you, and you can even ask them to delete it. And it’s really simple on Snapchat.

1- Open the Snapchat app then click on your bitmoji or story bubble
